Situated just 30 minutes northeast of Charlottetown, Sea la Vie Cottage is centrally located on the beautiful north shore of the island in the quaint seaside cottage community of Lakeside.
In our area (Points East Coastal Drive), or better known as "50 Beaches", you'll find the most incredible beach just minutes away, an oceanside nordic spa on the ocean bay, award-winning golfing right next door, kayaking and culinary experiences at nearby St. Peter's Lake ocean lagoon, yoga on the beach, fly fishing on the Morell River, plus spectacular dunes and a boardwalk at Greenwich PEI National Park to name just a few of the many things to see and do - all within 30 minutes of the cottage!

How to get to our island
Getting to Prince Edward Island is easy - fly, drive or take the ferry.
Charlottetown airport
Fly into PEI's capital city.
The airport is located just 30 minutes from our cottage and is an easy drive. It offers year-round, non-stop service from Ottawa, Toronto and Montreal. Seasonal flights also operate from Halifax, Calgary, Edmonton, Hamilton and Kitchener. Please check the airport website for the most up-to-date information for your travel plans.
Confederation Bridge
Take the high road across the Northumberland Strait!
The Confederation Bridge is a picturesque, curved, 12.9 kilometre (8-mile) long bridge between Cape Jourimain, New Brunswick to Borden-Carlton, PEI. It is the longest bridge in the world crossing ice-covered water and takes only 10 minutes to cross. Once on PEI, you will drive through the beautiful countryside for one hour and ten minutes to arrive at our cottage. Note - you will need to pay the toll upon leaving PEI!
Northumberland Ferry
Take the sea-nic route!
Enjoy a 75-minute crossing between Caribou, Nova Scotia and Woods Island, Prince Edward Island. Woods Island is located less than an hour south of our cottage.
